How much do you charge for an estimate or service call?

Why did my lights/outlets stop working?
A tripped circuit breaker, a loose wire connection, a burned-out bulb, or a tripped GFCI outlet upstream that controls power to that light fixture and, unfortunately, many more possibilities. Easy fixes: Check all GFCI outlets and press the test and reset button. Go to your breaker box and turn everything off and back on again.
Why does my breaker trip when I turn on the microwave?
Usually circuit overload. Older homes weren't wired to handle the power draw of modern microwaves. Kitchen appliances share the circuit and can often overload when it reaches capacity.
Why do my lights flicker when I dim them?
Incompatibility between LED bulbs and older dimmers. Non-dimmable LED bulbs or dimmer switches that are not rated for low-wattage LEDs struggle to maintain a steady current.
Why does only half of my house have power?
When a fuse or breaker goes bad, you can lose what's called a “phase” or “leg”. This can also happen when the utility company is working on the grid. Please check DTEs outage map to see if your area is affected. If not, give us a call.
